Description

Day 1: Kochi:

Arrive at Kochi airport, and transfer to the hotel. After arriving, check-in at the hotel. After refreshments, proceed for a half-day city tour visiting the Chinese Fishing Net, St. Francis CSI Church, The Santacruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, The Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace. Overnight stay in Kochi.

Day 2: Kochi – Munnar (130 Kms/4 Hrs):

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar. En route, visit Valera & Cheeyappara waterfalls. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar:

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit Echo Point, tea gardens, Photo Point, Top Station, and Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (100 Kms/3.5 Hrs):

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Visit Periyar Sanctuary. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady – Kumarakom (133 Kms/4 Hrs):

Early morning, enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, famous for its wild elephants and bird life. Return to the hotel for breakfast and drive to the picturesque backwaters of Kumarakom. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 6: Kumarakom – Kovalam (176 Kms/5 Hrs):

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Kovalam. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam:

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing & city tour of Trivandrum. (Optional: Full-day excursion to Kanyakumari & back, including the Padmanabhapuram Palace and Vivekananda Rock Memorial). Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 8: Departure (12 Kms/30 Mins):

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Transfers & drop-off at the airport.
